Manticore Films is a London-based production company set up by writer and producer Rupert Ratcliffe with the aim to create original content for film & television.
I was brought into the project to design the brand's logomark to accompany the beautiful primary word mark created by designer Verity Wheatley which you can see below.
The Manticore is a mythological creature of Persian origin. The reason for its use within this project was due to the owners own heritage and the memories of hearing tales in his childhood. This personal link to story telling is why the creature was chosen as a visual representation of a film and production company.
